Pumpkin Patch

Having skipped the requisite pumpkin patch visit last year, we decided to check one out this year to see what all the fuss was about. Beyond that, Will had taken a keen interest in the stack of pumpkins that our YMCA has on display (and to one rather large pumpkin in particular: "Pumpkin! BIG Pumpkin!"), so we thought he'd be thrilled at the site of hundreds of pumpkins, just waiting to be the lucky one to return home with us.

Truth be told, he was a bit overwhelmed.

But luckily for us, his enthusiasm for trains hasn't waned since the last post. A ride on the Cow Train with Daddy lifted his spirits considerably. Ten days later as I write this post, he's still talking about it. In fact, it was the first thing he mentioned when he woke up this morning. Choo-Choo trains are great, but I suppose it's hard to beat a Moo-Moo train.

Another redeeming feature of the farm was the plentiful supply of red wagons. Will eagerly navigated his wagon of choice through the rows of pumpkins.

At last, having found his comfort zone in the pumpkin patch, Will identified his Great Pumpkin.
