Tahoe in the Summertime

We headed up to Tahoe for our first summertime visit to spend time with Chris and Keli C. and their boys, Logan and Charlie. A highlight was taking the Northstar gondola(s), which we did more than a few times. We hiked partway down the mountain, with Logan forging ahead to locate shady spots while Will, ever the budding naturalist, stopped to point a few things out.


























Of course, a trip to Tahoe wouldn't be complete without a visit to the lake! The boys enjoyed some sand castle construction, while Charlie sampled the sand.

Overheard at breakfast this morning:

Mama: Will, can you please stop banging your spoon on the table?

Will: No, Mama, there's a song in my heart so I need to bang the spoon right here.

Family Day at Stinson Beach

We had so much fun at Stinson Beach with Will's buddies Hazel, Lily and Beatrix and their families! Will loved splashing in the water, digging in "The Pit," flying his kite and throwing the football. Here are some photos from our day at the beach:

We visited Will's buddy Miles and his new brother, Sawyer. Jason hosted storytime for Will and Miles, who were quite engrossed. Must have been the bulldozers.

A Slumber Party with Mimi and Poppie

With Mama and Daddy attending a wedding, Will had Mimi and Poppie all to himself on our visit to Virginia!

Will enjoyed a walk in the gardens and lots of swinging, along with some tennis with Poppie.

He showed off his bulldozing skills with Great Aunt Carol...










....and after a big day, slept soundly in his Peapod!
