On Saturday, September 27th, we were treated to a fabulous picnic in Golden Gate Park with friends and family, hosted by our dear friends Michele Byrnes and Jaime Shean. It was a perfect afternoon - the sun was shining on us and we were so happy to be able to have the chance to kick back and spend time with people we care about.
An event highlight was The Diaper Olympics, a relay race to see which team could diaper (and re-diaper) a flour "baby" with a cloth diaper! As you'll see from the slideshow, enthusiasm ran high and the competition was fierce!
Thank you to everyone near and far who has supported us the past few months - we can't wait to introduce you to Mini-Misner!

Elizabeth,
You look great - you're going to be a fantastic Mom. Part of the reason for this is that you and your party weren't beset upon by a crazed band of renegade poodles in Golden Gate Park, which is partly due to me (sort of).
Maybe I should explain. You see, The Louis Berger Group (my company) was part of a team hired a couple of years ago to manage semi-feral pet (pets no one wants anymore, like a giant poodle with 6-inch fangs and a bladder control problem, or Donald Rumsfeld)populations in Golden Gate Park. So you see, you can thank my company for protecting you, Mini-Misner, Jason, and the rest. Its sort of a loose association for me to claim as my own, I'll admit, but still relevant. Of course, by the time Mini-M and the next five kids turn into teenagers, you may find yourself tying lamb chops around your neck and wandering through Golden Gate Park at night with a squeezy chew toy in each hand just praying for a rabid schnauzer. No, really, kids are great, really....
Seriously, enjoy this time of your life; it goes by way too fast (says Grandpa Scott).
Happy Days, jsl.
